Rick is in Switzerland on a teacher exchange through the United States Government's Fulbright Teacher and Administrator Exchange. Rick is a PE and health teacher at Wheeling High School in Wheeling, Illinois, USA. He is exchanging his teaching position
with Bernard who lives in Comano, Switzerland, just outside of Lugano. Bernard will teach PE during the 2004-2005 school year
at Wheeling, and Rick will teach PE and English at 2 different schools that Bernard teaches at in Lugano. He
will teach English at a fashion design and industry school where the emphasis will be on using English in the fashion industry, and
he will teach PE at a vocational high school, where the students are apprentices learning to become either painters, carpenters,
hairdressers, electricians, etc. Rick is dedicated to making this a successful year for his Swiss students.
We are also exchanging our homes and cars during this year. Please join us periodically as we update this website to keep
you informed of our adventures in Switzerland!
